Wiki Loves Monuments France 2019

Le concours Wiki Loves Monuments France est de retour et ouvert jusqu'à 31 septembre ! Déjà 8313 photos ont été importés cette année, vous aussi rejoignez le concours !
Le concours concerne tous les monuments présents dans la base Mérimée (qu'ils soient classés, inscrits ou simplement classés). De l'imposant château aux ruines industrielles, de la chapelle au coin de la rue aux mégalithes en forêt, c'est un impressionnant patrimoine qui attend d'être photographié et documenté. Où que vous soyez il y a des monuments autour de chez vous. Enfin, vous pouvez mettre en ligne autant de photos que vous le souhaitez de ces monuments. Pour information, le règlement est disponible sur le site du concours. Nous attendons vos photos avec impatience !
Les plus belles photos seront sélectionnées par un jury national composé d'amateurs et de professionnels, de contributeurs à Wikimedia Commons et d'acteurs du patrimoine. Un jury international sélectionnera ensuite des meilleures photographies mondiales.
Si vous avez des questions, l'équipe organisatrice se fera un plaisir d'y répondre.

Wikivoyage KL map
[edit]Hello, can I know what tool that you are using to create the Data:Kuala_Lumpur_Districts.map? I would like to give in a try to create a KL map but using parliamentary map. - Hey *angys*! Yeah, I am close to the new Sri Delima and Kampung Batu stations for the next weeks. Hope I find the time to shoot some pictures.
- Instead of writing a novel regarding the map I quickly made an explanatory video. Please have a look:
- Some additional explanation
- In short there are two options to create a district overview map:
- 1a. geojson.io only
- Go to geojson.io, draw the lines/polygons, give them the desired color and title. Copy the GeoJSON file and proceed to step 2. A certain disadvantage with this solution is, that you cannot merge nodes. So if you have 2 polygons right next to each other, they won't be perfectly aligned. With the solution in 1b this problem is nonexistent.
- 1b. JOSM & geojson.io (shown in the video above)
- Draw polygons as desired and export as .geojson. Important: The export of polygons to .geojson only works as expected in JOSM, if the polygons have a describing tag assigned to it, which is normally applied to an area (e.g. landuse=residential)! You can assign the title tag to each polygon/line right in JOSM, if you don't want to do it in geojson.io (e.g. title=[[Amsterdam/Noord|Noord]]).
- 2. Upload to Commons
- Create a new map in Wikimedia Commons and paste in the GeoJSON created in 1.
- 3. Create mapmasks
- In order to grey out the irrelevant parts of a district article map you can paste the GeoJSON from 2. into the tool Mapmask <-> GeoJSON Converter to create the mapmask code.
- 1a. geojson.io only

For KL station now commons require a lot of exterior picture as well as concourse and platform picture (in panaroma e.g. like This one in Hong Kong MTR), seems you will staying near Kamping Batu, maybe you can consider to take a shoot from Batu Caves KTM station, that is for my little suggestion (as currently there is no KL-ute active mapper in Malaysia AFAIK, some subway pictures even took 13 years ago..)*angys* (talk) 06:11, 4 February 2020 (UTC)

Le concours Wiki Loves Monuments France est ouvert pour une semaine encore, jusqu'au 30 septembre. Déjà plus de 6 000 photos ont été importées cette année alors vous aussi rejoignez le concours ! Cette campagne de contribution concerne tous les monuments et objets mobiliers présents dans la base Mérimée et dans la base Palissy. De l'imposant château aux ruines industrielles, de la verrière décorative au reliquaire, c'est un impressionnant patrimoine qui attend d'être photographié et documenté. Vous pouvez dès à présent mettre en ligne autant de photos que vous le souhaitez de ces monuments et objets du patrimoine français. Nous attendons vos photos avec impatience !

- The OSM database is only synced once in a while with Wikimedia. I think that is why the map data is a bit out of date. --Renek78 (talk) 21:48, 21 August 2022 (UTC)

বাংলাদেশের প্রত্নতাত্ত্বিক ও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ স্থাপনার ছবি তুলে ধরার উদ্দেশ্য নিয়ে আবারো শুরু হয়েছে উইকি লাভস মনুমেন্টস ছবি প্রতিযোগিতা। ১ অক্টোবর থেকে শুরু হওয়া এই প্রতিযোগিতাটি ৩১ অক্টোবর পর্যন্ত চলবে। প্রতিযোগিতার পাতায় দেওয়া বাংলাদেশের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ স্থাপনার তালিকা থেকে যেকোনও সময় তোলা যেকোনও স্থাপনার যত খুশি তত ছবি আপলোড করা যাবে। বিজয়ীদের জন্য আলাদাভাবে আন্তর্জাতিক ও জাতীয় পুরস্কার রয়েছে।
